Events Coming Up This Month...
Spring is here and with it comes lots of great local races to choose from! We thank you for your past participation in our events and hope to see you at some of these upcoming races soon!
March 4- Superhero Dash, New Bern- This race features a certified 5K course from Creekside Park in New Bern. All proceeds will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. More Info/Register
March 4- American Warrior 5K Walk/Run, Fayetteville- The American Warrior 5k Walk/Run will benefit His Bread of Life. His Bread of Life is a Christian food bank ministry, working with area churches to help feed the children and families in need. Food donations will be accepted the morning of the race. The 5k is a certified race route and will begin and end at Festival Park. More Info/Register
March 11- Go for the Gold 5K, Newport- This race will be held on Croatan High School's cross country course and includes a 5K, kids fun run, plus best dressed contest and pancake breakfast! All proceeds will benefit Croatan Athletics. More Info/Register
March 11- Live Well Free 5K, Greenville- This is a FREE event hosted by Kinetic Physical Therapy to help promote the health of the Pitt County area. More Info/Register
March 18- Biggsanity 5K, Williamston- The Biggsanity 5K in partnership with the Special Olympics will be a chance for the community to come out, have fun, and stay healthy, all while helping to raise money to support several local charities. We want Martin County to stay active and encourage everyone around to come and participate. We will be having a 5k race and a 1 mile fun walk/run. The race course will take runners through some scenic areas of Martin County. More Info/Register
March 18- Granville Ambulance Chase, Oxford- The Granville Ambulance Chase & Food Truck Rodeo has something for everyone- from serious runners to families looking for a day of healthy fun. Proceeds to benefit the Granville Health System Foundation. Includes 10K & 5K runs, 5K fun run, family walk, plus kids dash. More Info/Register
March 18- Purple Rubber Monkey Duck Fun Run, Beaufort- This 5K run takes place on the Beaufort waterfront. All profits go to Carteret County Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society. Co-sponsored with Carteret County Parks and Recreation. More Info/Register
March 18- The Outlaw Foundation 5K Run/Walk, Mount Olive- Join us for the Outlaw Foundation's 4th annual 5K Run/Walk. The Outlaw Foundation's mission is to help as many as possible who are currently battling cancer in Eastern NC. More Info/Register
March 19- Color Outside the Lines 5K, Goldsboro- A fun, family-oriented 5k Run/Walk or 1 Fun Run is sponsored by Wayne Montessori School. At each mile, participants can choose to be decorated by volunteers. The color is nontoxic and washable, so have fun! Bring the whole family to cheer on the participants and have the camera ready for the great photo ops that are sure to happen after the runners “get colored”. We will also have a climbing rock wall and other family activities that promote an active lifestyle. Funds generated from this event will be used to support Wayne Montessori School. March 25- Lakewood Leopard 5K, Salemburg- This event will be held at Lakewood High School and assist Lakewood in purchasing supplies, technologies, and other items to enhance education. More Info/Register
March 25- Steps to Freedom 5K, Jacksonville- Steps to Freedom 5K run/walk to support victims of human trafficking. True Justice International is a non profit with offices in New Bern and Jacksonville. All proceeds will go to support the mission of bringing restoration and healing to victims of human trafficking and support the safe house initiative. More Info/Register
March 25- Storm the Stadium, Greenville- Want to take on a unique challenge? One that has over 3200 steps? Storm the Stadium is ECU's newest events and one of the longest stair climb challenges in Eastern North Carolina. All proceeds from Storm the Stadium will go to support scholarships and programming for ECU's student veterans. More Info/Register
March 26- Bulldog 5K, Winterville- Join Pitt Community College for the annual Bulldog Run, which features a certified race course on the PCC campus. More Info/Register
